Frequently Asked Questions
Placing a hold is easy! Simply fill out our booking inquiry form, shoot us an email (booking@raintownstudio.com), or give us a call (425-830-7806).
Hold: We’re more than happy to place a hold for any dates you’re interested in. To confirm the hold (convert the hold to a booking), a deposit (50% of the total value of the cumulative studio day rate) is required. If another production challenges your hold, you have 24 hours to confirm your hold or the dates are released and the other production is open to book.
Confirmed Booking: Once you’ve paid the deposit the dates are yours! We’ll send you the remaining paperwork for you to fill out before your first day in studio. After the paperwork is complete all we need to know is your call and wrap times.
We recommend confirming your booking via deposit as soon as you confirm your production dates.
All we need are your production dates and a deposit. The deposit is 50% of the cost of the total number of studio days needed for your production. After the deposit is paid, we require a signed location agreement, a credit card authorization, and a certificate of insurance if you are renting equipment.
50% Deposit of Studio Day Rate: We will invoice for the remaining 50% (along with any additional rental charges) after wrap on Net7 payment terms.
Location Agreement: This is a contract where a production agrees to abide by the terms & conditions outlined in the document. In turn, the contract gives permission to the production to use the studio for the purpose of recording content, whether you are filming, taking photographs, or making any other recordings.
Credit Card Authorization: This is to cover any additional costs incurred while in studio. Additional fees include but are not limited to damages, excessive cleaning, overtime, crew, and equipment rentals. The card will only be charged if the final invoice remains unpaid after 7 days.
Certificate of Insurance: A COI is a statement of coverage issued by your insurance company. It serves as verification that your business is indeed insured.
We kindly request a COI if your production company has one available for your production.
We require a COI if Particle equipment is being rented and operated on set by anyone who is not a Particle team member or partner.
